Pick the cheapest type that works. Start with residential, move to mobile only for targets that need it.
Use static ISP IPs when you need one address for weeks. Paying per IP can be cheaper than paying per GB for long, low-traffic jobs.
Cut the traffic you send through the proxy: block images and fonts in headless browsers, request JSON endpoints where they exist, and cache responses.
Buy the size you will use. Per-GB prices fall steeply as packages grow, so one bigger package is cheaper than several small ones.
Test with a small package first, then scale once the success rate is clear.
