Reddit Proxies

Why use proxies for Reddit

Reddit applies rate limits and shows region-aware content and ads. Researchers, marketers and moderators who work with several accounts or collect public posts often run into those limits if everything leaves from one IP.

Separate IPs per account keep tooling tidy, and country targeting shows you how communities and ads look in each region.

• Monitor brand and topic mentions across subreddits.
• Research audience interest by country.
• Manage community or support accounts for several brands.
• Collect public posts via the API or search, within rate limits.

Which proxy type fits

See the product pages for residential, mobile and ISP proxies, or compare all prices on the cheap proxies page.

What not to do

Do not use proxies for vote manipulation, ban evasion or spam. Reddit detects these patterns and the rules prohibit them.

How to set it up

1. Choose a country for your research or account.
2. Generate rotating lines for monitoring or sticky lines for accounts.
3. Plug the lines into your tool or browser profile.
4. Check the exit IP with the proxy checker.

Good practice

• No vote manipulation, no ban evasion, no spam.
• Use Reddit’s API and respect rate limits where you can.
• Keep one account per IP and browser profile.
